Meet Nicolas Cabo!
We want to share with you why Keyrus is such a great place to work! Please allow us to introduce Nicolas Cabo from our Argentinian team, working out of Neuquen Capital!
Where are you from?
Argentina
What’s your anthum song?
"Here, There and Everywhere" by The Beatles
What are your passions or hobbies?
As a hobby, I love snowboarding and cooking — especially meat in all its forms, whether it’s grilled, roasted, or seared. I also enjoy traveling and discovering new places. I’m passionate about scuba diving and exploring as much of the world as I can.
What would people be surprised about if they knew this about you?
People would be surprised if they knew that, despite being very analytical and tech-focused, I genuinely enjoy understanding people — their motivations, their stories, their goals. It’s something that helps me connect deeply with clients, colleagues, and even in my personal life.
What has been your favorite project at Keyrus been so far?
My favorite project was with a client who currently owns most of the major breweries in the world. I really enjoyed working with them not only because they were the first client to invite me to their country and offices, but also because we built a great relationship that we still maintain today. The project itself was a major challenge: we had to organize more than 50 Excel files used for SCFD planning and redesign the whole process to implement it in Anaplan. It wasn’t easy at all — they also had to re-process and rethink many of their existing workflows.
What are some tools that you use daily?
The tools I use the most in my day-to-day work are Anaplan, Excel, Teams, ClickUp, and an LLM (mainly ChatGPT). Aside from Anaplan, the rest of these tools are essential for tracking, organizing, and steering projects effectively.
What would your dream project at Keyrus be?
My dream project at Keyrus would be to lead transformational change not only in the US but also across LATAM — helping companies rethink their processes and implement them in Anaplan. And if I can go a bit further, I’d love to help clients adopt and implement AI-driven solutions as part of their transformation journey.
What are your areas of expertise?
Without a doubt, my strongest area of expertise is Anaplan. I don’t limit myself to any specific vertical—FP&A, Supply Chain, ZBB, and others. I’ve worked across multiple areas, and the biggest conclusion I’ve reached is that if you truly understand Anaplan and you genuinely understand what the client needs, you already have 98% of what’s required to solve their problems.
Over the past year, I’ve also been developing myself in the field of AI, and I continue to invest in that path. My goal is to eventually combine both technologies and enhance our overall offering.
What first attracted you to Keyrus?
The opportunity for real, accelerated growth. I saw a company that valued talent, gave responsibility early on, and encouraged people to take ownership of their work. The culture felt dynamic, ambitious, and full of possibilities — exactly the kind of environment I wanted to be part of.
What’s one thing about Keyrus that surprised you after joining?
The mentorship and trust I received from day one honestly surprised me. I didn’t expect to find a place where leaders were so open, supportive, and willing to help others grow. The level of collaboration across regions — US, LATAM, and beyond — also impressed me. It made me realize how global and connected Keyrus really is.
How would you describe Keyrus to a friend in the industry?
Keyrus is a consulting firm where you don’t feel like just another consultant — you feel like you’re truly part of something being built. It’s a place with strong technical expertise, but also a culture that pushes you to innovate, take initiative, and constantly evolve. Compared to other firms, the autonomy, speed of learning, and trust you receive here are on another level.
How has Keyrus helped you grow professionally?
Keyrus has been the biggest catalyst for my professional growth. I developed strong leadership skills, led complex Anaplan projects across multiple geographies, and gained exposure to cutting-edge technologies like AI. The company challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, take on responsibilities earlier than expected, and constantly improve both technically and strategically. My career has grown faster here than anywhere else.
Why do you stay at Keyrus?
I stay at Keyrus because it’s a place where I can grow fast, make an impact, and genuinely enjoy the work I do. The company trusts its people, gives real opportunities, and encourages innovation — especially in areas like Anaplan and AI, which I’m passionate about. I also stay because of the relationships I’ve built here. I feel supported, valued, and part of a team that pushes me to become better every day.
Give us a snapshot of the team culture
A collaborative, fast-moving team where everyone is willing to help, share knowledge, and push each other to grow. We work hard, trust each other, and genuinely enjoy building great solutions together.
Can you describe Keyrus in 3 words?
Growth. Trust. Innovation.
What are your WFM must-haves?
A good coffee, dual monitors, and noise-cancelling headphones and of course, good company.
Can you give us a peak behind-the-scenes?
Behind the scenes, I’m the person who always double-checks everything with ChatGPT open on the second screen. And I’m also the guy who turns every work trip into an opportunity to discover a new restaurant (I love eating) or a hidden spot in the city.
