Do you have any passions outside of work?

I've been playing football for over 10 years, and it's still my favorite way to clear my head after a busy day at work. This past season, Keyrus even sponsored my team, HauPa, which is a great example of how much work-life balance and employee well-being are valued here.

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

Before starting my engineering studies, I spent a year studying mathematics at the university with the goal of becoming a math teacher.

What attracted you to working at Keyrus?

The international work environment for sure. The opportunity to live in my hometown, Oulu, while working with international teams and clients was simply too good to pass!

What's your favorite project at Keyrus?

A Procurement planning and forecasting solution for a food manufacturing company implemented with Anaplan. We delivered a dynamic application that consolidated all of the customer's procurement data, creating value for both procurement and finance departments across regional and global teams.

My project role was a bit unconventional as I was the Master Data Manager which allowed me to work closely with stakeholders across multiple regions. This was also my first project and I learned so much from our project team. They were always happy to share their best tips and never hesitated to answer even my most basic questions with a smile.

What tools do you love working with?

I have really enjoyed learning Anaplan, where you can build complex solutions for a wide range of use cases. My favorite aspect of working with Anaplan is designing pages that present all the necessary data while still looking clean and visually appealing.

Keyrus is filled with experts of many different areas, it's flexible in terms of fitting your personal and professional lives together. Last but not least, we have such fun people and activities - such as travelling to Turkey to go downhill skiing 😊

What are you most proud of at Keyrus?

I’m most proud to work with a diverse group of international colleagues on a variety of different projects.

What's one thing about Keyrus that surprised you after joining?

How autonomous and transparent our local team is. Decisions are made collaboratively, and everyone is treated as an equal. Being part of a small team means more responsibility, but having that level of trust and ownership so early in my career has been genuinely motivating.

How would you describe Keyrus to a friend in the industry?

Our small local team members work closely with global teams and customers across a wide range of industries, implementing solutions for various use cases. Our organization is highly diverse, and you'll get to collaborate with talented people from various backgrounds. We truly value work-life balance and flexibility allowing work to fit your personal life, not the other way around.

How has Keyrus helped you grow professionally?

As this is my first job after graduation, I've learned an incredible amount! The company provides a great balance of freedom and responsibility, also for junior employees. Getting consistent feedback from colleagues truly supports personal development and drives motivation.

How would you describe the team culture?

Our small local team forms a tight group of support and sharing experiences, which is truly valuable. Combined with the relaxed and open atmosphere of our organization, this creates a supportive environment for both personal development and navigating more challenging times.

Your dream project at Keyrus would be?

While one of the best things about Keyrus is the opportunity to collaborate with international teams and clients, it would be amazing to deliver an implementation for a Finnish company and work together with our local team!

What has been your career journey to this point?

During my university studies I worked in an electronics company, where I started in manufacturing. My next role at the company consisted of programming, data analysis and visualization. I also completed my Master's thesis for the company, where I conducted a current state assessment of the organization's data-driven maturity. Based on the findings, I provided development recommendations to guide future actions. Right after graduation, I got the opportunity to join Keyrus and here we are now, a bit over a year later.
