What we are looking for?

We are seeking a Virtual Workplace Engineer to manage and maintain our organization's virtual workplace infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of virtual collaboration tools, remote access systems, and digital workspaces. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of virtual workplace technologies and best practices. This role will play a crucial part in advising on the architecture of our virtual workplace, both for our consultants to deliver at clients and for our support teams (sales, marketing, finance, operations). Knowledge management is a key area that we need to support, and training users to make the most effective use of the tools at their disposal is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce CRM, and Clickup

• Experience with remote access systems and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)

• Proficiency in cloud services such as Azure – others are a plus

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – at ease navigating a flat organization

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cloud Essentials, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus
